I love this picture for the breathtaking contrast between these stunning blue eyes and the silvery blue facial fur. I found this picture on http://scx.hu/and I’m still not sure if it’s an older Himalyan cat with a darker shade, or a blue Persian with photoshopped eyes. Either way, it’s a beautiful picture.

This sweet kitten is a total fluffball with eyes that spell out curiosity. She has a unique cat pattern that combines the tabby markings with the tortoiseshell tri-colored patches – quite striking for a longhair cat! Blue cats have always held a fascination with me. Something nice and almost psychedelic about blue for a cat coat color. A la the movie Avatar Of course, blue in this context actually mean diluted black, or in other words, a rich variant of gray.

He may not look too pleased about having his picture taken, but I like the combination of the blue coat, copper eyes, white teeth and pinky tongue.

Bert here is a beautiful blue-eyed colorpoint that was adopted from a shelter.

Her unique markings can be confusing for some, but the blue eyes seal the deal: she carries the colorpoint gene, showing off her tabbytude in the facial markings too. This combination is known as lynx pattern.

Many felines adore nylon bags, and many more like “hiding” in bags. This pretty white and tabby bicolor seems very much at home in her homemade nest, doesn’t she? I admit, I like this picture a lot also because she looks just like the cat I grew up with, Lucky. And she has the same look in her eyes as well… Can you guess what she’s thinking?
